Hand warmer-upers

Behold the fingerless gloves! My most complicated project to date.

I took the Fetching pattern from knitty.com and doubled the length for maximum coverage and warmth. If I may say, I think this is the best looking thing I have knit yet. They've been finished for a few weeks now and Kel wears them all the time. Her poor hands are always cold. But not any more!

p.s. The spice cake (above) was sooo good I had to take a picture of it and the gloves got in the way.

Hey - sara's cousin in law here. Just thought I'd let you know you know - Great blog! I'll post a picture of my favorite beenie of my sons - it was made in Tasmania, Australia and I think it is great as it keeps his ears warm AND stays on as it has ties - plus looks way funky.
